With an unassuming frontage and wedged in front of semi-industrial buildings at the bottom of Oxford Street, Bulimba this gem is easily missed, but not by the locals.
Always well patronised, great coffee and tasty light snacks and cakes can be enjoyed in the casual, relaxed courtyard. Grab a takeaway and stroll along the riverfront for some great views of Teneriffe and the city.
This is basically my local waterhole when it comes to good coffee.
Friendly service and weekly changing single origin coffees attract an eclectic crowd from the local neighbourhoods around Hawthorne and Morningside. Home-made pastries and the beautiful little courtyard make you want to hang around a little longer and just kick back.
You find Gramercy Coffee in the Edward Street Laneway of the Wintergarden in Brisbane’s CBD. They brew very good, full-bodied coffee and offer a range of delicious pastries and home-made eats. Good croissants are usually difficult to find (unless you have a French patisserie around the corner) but here they are very acceptable.
